Wanganui's Heartland Championship winning rugby form has seen eight of their players named in this year's Heartland 15.
The team was announced today following Saturday's finals of the Meads Cup, won by Wanganui, and the Lochore Cup final, won by North Otago.
The team, selected by former All Blacks selector Earle Kirton, Heartland 15 coach Guy Lennox (Wanganui) and assistant coach Grainger Heikell (Poverty Bay), will play a New Zealand Marist 15 in Masterton on November 14.
One player remains to be named and will be confirmed later this week.
