A Rotorua-born hooker will be at the heart of the English scrum against the All Blacks this weekend.
Dylan Hartley left New Zealand at 16 to play rugby in England and is now playing his 14th Test for the nation.
He will be facing an unfriendly reception, says All Black fullback Mils Muliaina.
"I think it's just part of rugby...everyone just likes to hate the English, I suppose."
The All Blacks want to beat England definitively but Hartley will be trying to stop that.
"To come here at 16 and for England to kind of take me under their wing ... I think it's down to that they've made me the player I am and I owe it to them," says Hartley.
England were heavily criticised for last weekend's performance against Argentina, but Hartley says that criticism has only fired the team up to face New Zealand.
"They're coming to Twickenham, our home ground, so we want to dictate what happens there."
