England call up cover for Wilkinson

England first-five Jonny Wilkinson has become an injury concern for Sunday's Six Nations match against Ireland at Twickenham after suffering muscle tightness, the Rugby Football Union (RFU) said on Tuesday.

Manager Martin Johnson is due to name his team on Wednesday and called up Charlie Hodgson to train with the squad at their Surrey base.

Centre Dan Hipkiss is out of contention after injuring his ankle playing for Leicester at the weekend and has been replaced in the squad by Jamie Noon.

Flanker Joe Worsley, yet to feature in the championship, has also been included in the squad.
