All Blacks star Dan Carter is set to become a father after announcing his wife's pregnancy this morning.
The first five-eighth, who is currently in London on tour with the All Blacks, is married to former New Zealand hockey player Honor Carter.
Carter made his announcement via Twitter this morning.
Thought it was time to share our exciting news.. @ honorcarter is 21 weeks pregnant! We are both very excited about being parents #BabyCarter

Honor also tweeted the news:
"Time to share our exciting news... @DanCarter & I are expecting our first child! I am 21 weeks & we are both very excited :) #BabyCarter."
Dan and Honor were married in December last year at the luxury Lake Timara Lodge near Blenheim.
Twitter has already been flooded with congratulation messages with the hashtag #babycarter, with the Prime Minister among those wishing the pair well.
