Crusaders edge out Hurricanes

The Crusaders have beaten the Hurricanes 19-8 in their Super Rugby pre-season match in Mangatainoka today.

The Crusaders went on with the job in the second half after tries to Patrick Osborne and Luke Romano put them ahead 12-3 at halftime.

Beauden Barrett scored a try for the Hurricanes with five minutes to play to close the gap.

The Chiefs and Highlanders are currently playing their match in Queenstown, while the Blues take on the Rebels in Melbourne later tonight.
