Hulking Frenchman Sebastian Chabal will be the new face of rebel sport's latest advertising campaign.

The new ad that is set to hit New Zealand TVs on Saturday features the man-mountain out christmas shopping for his entire family.

Chabal has become a cult figure in rugby circles due to his caveman-esque appearance and barnstorming runs that shatter defences.

Some of those smashing runs coming against New Zealand in the ill-fated 2007 World Cup quarter final when France upset the All Blacks.
