The Chiefs have made six changes to the starting side to play the Crusaders at Waikato Stadium in Hamilton this Saturday.
Last week's captain Brodie Retallick has been cleared to play after being in doubt with suspected concussion but has passed all of the required tests.
Up front, Pauliasi Manu will start at prop, while Liam Messam returns to occupy the No. 6 jersey, to join flanker Tanerau Latimer and No. 8 Liam Squire in a re-jigged loose-forward trio.
Tawera Kerr-Barlow starts at halfback and winger Asaeli Tikoirotuma will take the field after two weeks out with a knee injury.
Four changes have been made to the bench with Jamie Mackintosh, Sam Cane, Matt Symons and Augustine Pulu all added to the reserves.
The Easter match will see Latimer make his 100th appearance for the franchise, joining Messam as the second person in the Chiefs' 18-year history to become a centurion.
Coach Dave Rennie said his side are wary of the red and blacks while Latimer's milestone gives them added incentive to get the job done in front of their home fans.
"The Crusaders are a bloody good side with good players that we respect," Rennie said today.
"It is a big occasion being Lats' 100th match for the Chiefs and the boys rate him highly so they are keen to front for him."
