Braid not holding out for ABs call-up

Auckland captain Daniel Braid doesn't believe his current form warrants an All Blacks call up.

Braid is one of a few possible candidates to back up Richie McCaw on the end of year tour as a specialist openside.

However he believes he is a long way off getting the call up.

Braid will have a chance to impress in this afternoon's ITM Cup clash against Taranaki at Eden Park.

In today's later game Hawke's Bay and Otago play at Carisbrook.
