Graham Lowe is eyeing a return to his old stomping ground at Brookvale Oval.

The rugby league legend has confirmed he is in line to return to Manly as the club's CEO.

A special sub-committee has been set up at the Sea Eagles to settle on the high-profile position, which has been vacant since Grant Mayer left in June.

Lowe says he was approached some time ago and has the backing of Manly stalwart Ken Arthurson.

He says it is a big job and he needs the support of someone like Arthurson.

Lowe coached Manly in the early 1990's and has also coached Queensland and the Kiwis.
