Brisbane Broncos captain Darren Lockyer has confirmed reports he is considering playing on until 2012.

However the Queensland and Australian captain says he hasn't signed a new deal, with his current contract set to expire at the end of 2011.

Lockyer said his body was feeling better than it had at this time of the year for a number of seasons and he feels confident he has fully recovered from a serious knee injury suffered in 2007.

The Broncos would have no hesitation in pulling together a one-year deal for Lockyer who has broken a number of individual records in his 16 seasons at the club.

Brisbane meanwhile continue to wait on word from the Greg Inglis camp after reports that both the Gold Coast and South Sydney have joined the race to sign the Melbourne star.
