Just two Kiwis have been named in the International Rugby League Federation's team of the year.

Kiwis captain Benji Marshall and prop Fuifui Moimoi have been included in the team.

Meanwhile, there's no room for World Cup player of the tournament Billy Slater, with Jarryd Hayne named at fullback.

Kiwis World Cup winner Stephen Kearney has missed out on the coach of the year award in favour of Melbourne Storm premiership winner Craig Bellamy.

Selection encompasses the time period from the World Cup, but does not include the Four Nations.
