Although he has temporarily lost his mantle as the world's best league player, Johnathan Thurston can still make women (and men) go weak at the knees just at the sight of his rugged good looks.
Not only is he a double Dally M award winner as the best in the NRL, but he somehow makes swanning about the field with flowing locks of hair swishing in the wind look more manly than welding.
His stubble-strewn face and chiselled good looks leave his opponents in awe giving the North Queensland Cowboys halfback time to weave his magic.
The rugged Queenslander commands the respect of some of the biggest, toughest and most feared men in rugby league when he marshals the troops for his all conquering representative sides. Honestly, what could be hotter than a man who can boss around the half-man-half-mountain that is Petero Civoniceva?
His one flaw may be that he is Australian, and yet somehow he even makes that seem cool.
Maybe it's the fact that he is playing alongside a bunch of Aussies week in and week out that makes him seem good-looking in comparison.
