Kiwis and Warriors fullback Lance Hohaia is hoping talk of a Four Nations boycott is not true.

A report out of a Australia has revealed NRL players are considering boycotting the tournament because of the delay in setting up the independent commission to run the game.

Hohaia told media today he is desperate to play for the Kiwis, particularly with the game on home soil at Eden Park.

He said not many league players have played at the prestigious ground.

Meanwhile, Kangaroos forward Nathan Hindmarsh has condemned any form of a player strike.

He said any strike would be disgraceful and any player who does strike doesn't deserve their jersey.

The NRL and Players Union are meeting today to discuss a new collective bargaining agreement.

The players want a much bigger slice of the money generated by the NRL Finals series while they also want State of Origin payments doubled.
