Cleary confident players still have faith

Warriors coach Ivan Cleary is confident he still has the ear of his players despite a torrid season.

The under-fire Warriors are lurching towards the end of the NRL season, with a 6-13 record with three rounds remaining.

Picked as title contenders prior to the season, the adjectives used by fans and pundits to describe recent performances include inept and gutless.

Recently re-signed until 2012, Cleary is adamant he still has the dressing room.

Cleary is confident he can still do a job, but knows he too needs to lift his game.

The Warriors host Canberra on Sunday.
