Brett Seymour to miss Roosters match

Warriors rookie Shaun Johnson could be a surprise starter for their clash against the Roosters in Sydney on Saturday night.

Johnson is in the squad as cover for Brett Seymour, who has had surgery on a fractured eye socket and will be out for a couple of weeks.

Team management has confirmed the young halfback has travelled with the team to Sydney.

Johnson has been touted as a future star of the game, but has battled injury for a couple of seasons.
