Reservoir Hill wins Gold World Medal!
Emmy award-winning Wellington-based TV production company KHF
Media has won a Gold World Medal at the prestigious 2011 New York
Festival's International Television and Film Awards for the first
season of its hit interactive online drama series, Reservoir
Hill.
Reservoir Hill, which screened online on TVNZ Ondemand, follows
the complicated life of teenager Beth Connolly and explores issues
faced by teens. It cleverly combines several types of media -
TV drama, SMS and the internet - to allow the
tech-savvy viewers to communicate with Beth via text and
online.
Last year, the first series of Reservoir Hill also won an
International Emmy award, while this year, the show's second
series, Everyone Lies, received a second nomination.
The programme has also taken out several other accolades,
including the 2010 Qantas Award for the Best Childrens/Youth
Programme.
