Shane Taurima is an award winning journalist who has worked in print, broadcasting and electronic media for the past 16 years. He presents Q+A alongside Paul Holmes as well as being the Executive Producer and back-up Presenter for Te Karere.

Shane spent 12 years in the Parliamentary Press Gallery, covering the cut and thrust of Maori politics, including four general elections. He has hosted several election and news programmes and is also the former presenter of Marae - TVNZ's Maori current affairs programme.
