SBS 6 Netherlands picks up additional Seasons of Piha Rescue
Hot on the heels of a license for 4 seasons of Piha Rescue in April 2012 to SBS Netherlands. TVNZ Licensing is pleased to announce that SBS have inked a deal for an additional two seasons. Scheduled on Net 5 in a prime time slot, the programme has been stripped for maximum effectiveness. The network is running two episodes back to back on weekdays between 1930 and 2030.
Piha Rescue now an iconic TV brand is set in New Zealand's wild, stunning and notoriously dangerous surf beach Piha. First broadcast in the spring of 2004, the series boasts a long shelf life and has consistently drawn large audiences.
