Police have interviewed former MP Richard Worth as their investigation into a sexual complaint against him continues.
Investigation head Detective Inspector Paul Basham says detectives working in Wellington and Auckland are continuing with inquiries.
Police interviewed Worth in Auckland last week.
"No recommendation has been made regarding the final outcome of the police investigation," he says.
Previously police have not named Worth, who resigned his ministerial portfolios on June 3, after Prime Minister John Key said he lost confidence in him.
On June 12 Worth announced he had resigned from parliament.
A Korean woman laid the complaint with police.
A second allegation was also made against Worth by Neelam Choudary, a member of the Labour Party.
She alleged that between November and February, Worth sent dozens of text messages, some sexually explicit, and called her numerous times.
Worth has said he has not done anything wrong.
