MPs take to Twitter to talk racism and twits

Twitter has become the latest battleground for political bickering.

National MP Tau Henare has tweeted that Hone Harawira is so racist, he puts chocolate milk in his tea.

Henare's old foe, Labour's Trevor Mallard has responded by saying the tweet was written by a twit.

Henare says Mallard has crossed the line.

It is not the first time the pair have clashed.

Mallard has even appeared in court over a scrap with Henare in the past.

Prime Minister John Key says he has nothing to say on the matter because he has not seen the tweet.
