The Labour Party is being urged to lay MPs' expenses on the table after the Greens and Act opened their books voluntarily during the past week.
Labour leader Phil Goff says his party backs the need for transparency butt won't be revealing MPs' expenses until the results of a cross party meeting on the issue are known.
He believes it's important to wait until guidelines are set in place so the process can be properly enforced.
Goff is adamant the public won't find anything earth shattering in regards to Labour MPs' expenses when they are released.
