The Act Party is playing down speculation about what ministerial roles the party's MPs might play.
The roles are part of a confidence and supply deal with the National Party.
Talks between National and Act remain ongoing, however most appear to be taking place over the phone rather than face-to-face.
Act MP Heather Roy is believed to have been offerered consumer affairs as a ministerial role but party leader Rodney Hide will not confirm this.
Hide says the discussions have been around economic policy and fiscal strategy, particularly given the latest economic forecasts.
