TV2 - Returning
Returning to TV2 in 2010
DESPERATE
HOUSEWIVES
In the last dramatic episode, viewers were left in suspense over which woman Mike Delfino (James Denton) decided to marry. On the season premiere of Desperate Housewives, the wait is over and his bride is finally revealed. Will it be Katherine (Dana Delany), or have recent traumatic events brought him and Susan (Teri Hatcher) back together?
Down the street, Lynette (Felicity Huffman) faces the reality of another pregnancy, Bree (Marcia Cross) struggles to break free from Orson (Kyle MacLachlan) and her inhibitions, and Gaby (Eva Longoria Parker) is put to the test by Carlos' (Ricardo Antonio Chavira) teenage niece, who is now living in their house. Elsewhere, a new family with a dark past move to Wisteria Lane.
Desperate Housewives takes a darkly comedic look at suburbia, where the secret lives of housewives aren't always what they seem - and it's returning to TV2 in 2010.
BROTHERS &
SISTERS
Welcome back the Walkers to TV2, when Brothers & Sisters returns to our screens next year.
This season, the tensions between Robert (Rob Lowe) and Kitty (Calista Flockhart) continue to rise, so the couple opt for therapy - but Kitty is harbouring a devastating secret that will rock the entire family. Elsewhere, Nora (Sally Field) and Holly (Patricia Wettig) begrudgingly team up for the wedding preparations of Justin (Dave Annable) and Rebecca (Emily VanCamp), but the relations between the two matriarchs are as frosty as ever.
Further afield, Tommy (Balthazar Getty) continues his personal spiritual journey in Mexico, and Sarah (Rachel Griffiths) searches for new business prospects in France - though she finds more than business opportunities await her in Europe. Kevin and Scotty, meanwhile, have some huge decisions to make when they consider starting a family of their own.
GREY'S ANATOMY
The new season of Grey's Anatomy picks up just seconds after the heart-pounding final moments of the last episode. Discover the fate of George (T.R. Knight) and Izzy (Katherine Heigl), as the staff of Seattle Grace battle to save their lives in the emotionally-wrought return of the TV2 favourite. A special two-hour premiere covers the shocking events of the next 40 days, as the doctors come to terms with what has happened.
Derek (Patrick Dempsey) and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) consummate their 'post-it' marriage at every available opportunity, while Christina and Owen continue their troubled romance, with the guidance of his therapist. Lexie, meanwhile, considers her options when Mark attempts to take their relationship to a new level, and Callie has to make a heartbreaking decision.
PRIVATE PRACTICE
Private Practice ended on a cliff-hanger last season, and we're thrust right back into the action as the brand new season comes to TV2.
In the premiere episode, Pete (Timothy Daly) and Naomi (Audra McDonald) discover Violet (Amy Brenneman) covered in blood and dying on her living room floor, having barely survived a violent attack from her patient. They rush her to the hospital and Addison (Kate Walsh) gets started on the surgery - but a huge decision has to be made that will change their lives forever.
Elsewhere, the episode flashes back to the early days of the surgery. Violet and Cooper (Paul Adelstein) are the first two doctors to be brought into the practice by Sam (Taye Diggs) and Naomi, who were both still happy and married at the time - and we find out the tragic circumstances surrounding Pete's recruitment to the team.
Back in the present and another trauma arrives, throwing Addison into an intense double surgery - with Violet's life hanging in the balance, can she save both the patients?
TWO AND A HALF MEN
Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer return for the brand-new season of Two and a Half Men, a comedy about men, women, sex, dating, divorce, mothers, single parenthood, sibling relations, surrogate families, money and, most importantly, love.
Charlie Harper (Sheen) is a neurotic well-to-do bachelor whose casual Malibu lifestyle is constantly interrupted by his tightly wound brother, Alan (Cryer), and Alan's son, Jake (Angus T. Jones), who live with him. Complicating matters further is Charlie and Alan's narcissistic, emotionally toxic mother, Evelyn (Holland Taylor).
In the season opener, Charlie must make a difficult decision about which woman he wants to spend his life with - Chelsea or Mia?
All new Two And A Half Men returns to TV2 in 2010.
THE BIG BANG
THEORY

The boys return from their research trip, bearded and happy to be home. Sheldon (Jim Parsons) is especially happy to be back in his familiar surroundings, while Leonard (Johnny Galecki) is excited to finally be reunited with Penny (Kaley Cuoco). However, Howard (Simon Helberg) and Raj (Kunal Nayyar), have some upsetting news for Sheldon, which threatens to wreck the boy's friendships.

LOST
Since Oceanic Flight 815 crash landed in 2004, the mysteries of the island, with its time travelling capabilities, deadly smoke monster, and esoteric indigenous population, have intrigued viewers everywhere. Now, it's time for answers - in the climactic final season of Lost.
When we last left the island, an impostor in the form of John Locke (Terry O'Quinn) had brutally killed the mysterious island leader, Jacob (Mark Pellegrino) - and his dying words heralded the arrival of a sinister new threat.
Elsewhere, the 'incident' was raging, a severe electromagnetic reaction caused by the Dharma Initiative's digging - and Juliet (Elizabeth Mitchell) was dragged into the pit, leaving Sawyer (Josh Holloway) heartbroken. In the final seconds, she forcibly detonated an atomic bomb in an effort to stop Flight 815 from crashing on the beach in the first place. But did it work?
With so many threads to pull together, tune in for what's sure to be a jaw-dropping and thrilling resolution to the global smash-hit series, as Lost returns to TV2 in 2010.
POLICE TEN 7
TV2's top-rating, crime-busting show, Police Ten 7, is back in 2010.
The show features action from the frontline, current cases to solve and crime 'hot spots' from around the country. Evidence of the programme's success is in the results. Since its inception in 2002, Police have made hundreds of arrests - and, each week, the Police Ten 7 phone line rings red hot with leads for the case officers.
With behind-the-scenes access to cases, Police Ten 7 will continue to be the first to reveal new information in high profile crimes, while providing insight into the important, varied and often difficult work the New Zealand Police face each day.
NEIGHBOURS AT WAR
New Zealand's much-loved, high rating, and argument-filled series is back for a brand new season, and this time around there will be no shortage of vindictiveness, quirky characters, and hair-raising antics.
Programme makers have scoured the country to bring viewers the most compelling stories of neighbourly disputes and, through mediation, ultimately attempt to bring resolution to the feuding households.
GO GIRLS
Go Girls, TV2's smash-hit local drama from the makers of Outrageous Fortune and Shortland Street, returns to our screens for a long-awaited second season.
The New Zealand drama-comedy series about love, friendship and (bottle) blonde ambition, stars Anna Hutchison ( Shortland Street, Power Rangers, Orange Roughies), Jay Ryan ( Neighbours, Sea Patrol, Interrogation, Being Eve) Alix Bushnell and Bronwyn Turei.
Go Girls is a sexy, funny, romantic series about three women, with very big dreams, as seen through the eyes of their other best friend - the chronically non-ambitious Kevin. Amy, Britta and Cody are three young women suffering their quarter century crisis: they're 25 and what have they achieved? The girls make a vow that in one year they'll fulfil their ambition to be 'rich', 'famous' and 'married'. Their mate-since-childhood Kevin, admires their pluck, but to be honest, since Amy, Britta and Cody are currently 'tragically poor', 'tragically unknown', and 'tragically single', he reckons it will be quite a task.
How will the girls go this year? Find out, when the popular drama returns to TV2 in 2010.
