U Late is here! following on from the hugely successful U live, U Late will take viewers comments and opinions from the channel’s Facebook app into broadcast; as well as featuring nightly guests and selected reality programmes that will be screened and discussed throughout the show. U late will be produced and presented by former U live host Tim Lambourne and his best friend, comedian Guy Montgomery.
U late will push boundaries and give you everything that’s not possible in an earlier time slot.

HEARTLAND STRAND SPONSORSHIPS
Heartland is a showcase of New Zealand's best home grown television and is the only channel with 100% local content. Each night from 7:30-9:30pm Heartland has a themed night of programming that creates a destination viewing zone for a particular type of programming.
Monday Menu is a collection of New Zealand’s finest foodie shows, Tuesday’s Discover New Zealand is a collection of shows that celebrate New Zealand heritage and communities and Wednesday’s are dedicated to documentaries, with Documentary NZ. Thursday nights get the viewer ready for a weekend of gardening and DIY with At Home and dim the lights on Friday night for Film Friday, which is hosted by film buff Dominic Corry. The Community Noticeboard is a feel good association for a sponsor looking for a community positioning, Heartland viewers send in their local events each week and these are aired in a 30-second noticeboard which screens approx. 90 times per week with an updated version launching each Sunday.
The sponsor receives logo branding on the noticeboard and online http://tvnz.co.nz/community-noticeboard/4967639. HEARTLAND THIS WEEK IN TV HISTORY
Heartland's series, This Week in TV History, is a weekly mini-show (there are two versions, a 2.5 mins duration and 1 min cutdown) providing a quick, timely and entertaining look at what happened this week in New Zealand television history, and showcasing the best footage from the TVNZ archive. The programme screens 52 weeks per year across the Heartland schedule.
Presenter Damian Christie takes viewers through a montage of significant events. It may be a classic story from the week, or big event that we associate with our national history - from the Springbok Tour and Muldoon's snap election announcement; to the Ingham Twins and Chloe from Wainuiomata. It could be a sporting highlight, a famous defeat we'd all prefer to forget, or even just a blooper from broadcasters past. TVNZ U STRAND SPONSORSHIPS
An interested brand could sponsor one of TVNZ Us themed strands that screen each night at 8.30-10.30pm (repeated the next day at 12 noon).
Each strand targets particular types of viewers by grouping themed programmes together within each strand. There is a show zone for guys (Dude Tuesday), a show zone for girls (Girl Thursday), an action & extreme sports zone (Guts Monday), a competitive reality zone (Knockout Friday) and programmes about dating and relationships (Pash Wednesday). A new strand has also recently been launched on Sunday nights - U Go Sunday, full of wacky and wild travel shows.
