The rugby great, who turned out in 29 All Black matches in the
mid to late 90s, has recently returned to New Zealand after a spell
playing in Japan.
As a professional sportsman, he knew his fitness would be his
greatest asset on Treasure Island. He also knew that challenges
relying on cryptic clues and problem-solving would be much more
difficult for him. Indeed, while some struggled with the rough
conditions, they didn't worry Glen.
Before leaving for Treasure Island, rugby star Glen Osborne
speculated that the worst thing about the experience would be
missing his family.
"I love camping out and love doing all that stuff like hunting and
fishing, but not without the family. I was really homesick for my
them," he says.
