Willis back in action after knee surgery

A newly repaired knee is bringing renewed hope for Olympic 1500 metres silver medallist Nick Willis.

Willis has had a successful operation to remove a cyst from his knee and he is back into full, painless training for the first time in two years.

He says he will be well prepared to defend his Commonwealth title in Delhi later in the year and may even be running better than ever.

Looking at what he's achieved in the past two years without being able to train fully gives him plenty of heart for the future although he admits at times he was so frustrated with the injury he felt like bursting into tears.
