Disgraced quarterback Michael Vick is set to make his first NFL appearance for the Philadephia Eagles on Monday against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Vick was a superstar of the sport before he was convicted of involvement in a dog fighting ring and spent 18 months in jail.
Most NFL franchises were reluctant to be associated with the 27-year-old upon his release but eventually the Eagles decided to take a chance on the man rated as one of the best running quarterbacks of all time.
Vick's pre-season appearances were restricted by the NFL comissioner, but injuries to Donovan McNabb and Kevin Kolb have forced the Philadephia team to include him on their bench for the clash against the Chiefs.
In seven seasons for the Atlanta Falcons between 2001 and 2008 Vick passed for over 11,000 yards and scored 26 touchdowns.
