It appears Manhattan office workers took drastic measures when they ran out of confetti to throw during the New York Yankees' World Series victory parade.

According to the Village Voice , people took to throwing files and documents out their office windows to celebrate their team's big win.

Some of the paperwork found during the big clean-up after the parade included medical records, financial statements and court records.

Unshredded files were found from organisations such as Goldman Sachs and the Bronx Supreme Court.

The Yankees and their somewhat over-enthusiastic fans were celebrating the team's 27th World Series title .
