It's just hours until the Super Bowl kicks off with the exciting prospect of the NFL's two best offensive units battling it out.
All eyes will be on the quarterback battle - Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts versus Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints.
The two quarterbacks combined for 27 regular season wins in 2009/10 - the second biggest total in Super Bowl history.
Brees had a career-best season with 4,388 passing yards, 34 touchdowns and a 109.6 passer rating.
His numbers were almost identical to Manning's totals of 4,500 yards, 33 touchdowns and 99.9 passer rating.
In the Super Bowl, Brees will be looking to put up some more numbers in the biggest game of his career.
Manning has seen it all before - he won a Super Bowl just three years ago by beating the Chicago Bears.
Manning's incredible accuracy and on-field leadership will be crucial against the Saints, while his experience gives him a slight edge over Brees.
The Super Bowl takes place today (Monday, February 8 NZT).
For all those Kiwi NFL fans who will be stuck at work and can't watch the game, tvnz.co.nz's John Whiting will be live scoring the Super Bowl from 12.00pm that day.
ONE News at 6pm will also wrap up the action later that evening.
