TVNZ RSS feeds, Yahoo Widget and Windows Vista Gadget
Now you can get ONE Sport headlines and content from across
TVNZ's websites on your desktop at anytime with RSS feeds and the
Windows Vista Gadget.
RSS Feeds
TVNZ syndicates its content using RSS ('Really Simple
Syndication'). This allows you to see when dozens of sections from
across the TVNZ websites are updated, using external feed readers
and other websites that can read RSS.
You can use a news reader or an application that support RSS, like
Gmail. There are many news readers available some of which are free
- like Yahoo's Widget and Microsoft Vista's Gadget (see more info
below).
You will find the orange RSS logo featured across the TVNZ
websites. If you want to keep up-to-date with the latest
politics headlines from ONE Sport for example, you'll find a RSS
logo next to Latest News on the
ONE Sport
homepage.
You can subscribe to an RSS feed by:
- Dragging the logo onto your news reader
- Right-clicking the logo and selecting "Copy Shortcut" or Copy Link Location" to copy the content URL, which you can then paste into the appropriate place in your news reader.
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 and Mozilla Firefox 1.5 will
automatically discover RSS feeds.
