You know you've reached worldwide fame, when just your first name typed into google provokes millions of results.
Double gold medallist and three-time world champion pole vaulter Yelena Isinbayeva is a global goddess - and not just because of her athletic exploits.
Orginally a gymnast before she grew too tall for the sport, the 1.74m Isinbayeva would not be out of place on the runway during this week's Auckland fashion week.
Perhaps adding to the allure, the world record holder is also an officer in the Russian army and after her success at the Beijing Olympics the 27-year-old was promoted to the rank of captain.
She has also managed to forever change our perception of Eastern bloc female athletes.
We were always used to seeing record breakers from the old Soviet Union, but they were often the kind of women who might be asked to help build a catwalk rather than walk down one.
