Danny Green believes he has been underestimated by boxing legend Roy Jones Jr ahead of Wednesday's world title showdown at Sydney's Acer Arena.

The pair came face to face at the official press conference at Star City Casino on Monday, two days out from the International Boxing Organisation cruiserweight title fight, with both insisting they were 100 per cent ready and relaxed.

Green, wearing thongs with a suit and green tie, was full of respect for his opponent but believed Jones would get more than he bargained for come fight night.

"Do I think he's underestimated me? Yes," Green said.

"I think everyone's underestimated me.

"Roy is the raging favourite and rightly so on his career and his achievements and his ability as a fighter.

"So yeah of course I'm the underdog but that's going to work in my favour.

"I know what I'm up against, I know what I'm about to face and I'm cool with that."

Green insisted there was no animosity between the two fighters, but said it was a different story with Jones' manager McGee Wright after he made personal comments about Green's team in the media.

McGee, when briefly allowed by Jones to speak, didn't mince his words when asked his opinion of the fight.

"There ain't one doubt in my mind, Roy Jones will knock Danny Green out, no question," McGee said.

Jones Jr, who calmly listened to his iPod during the formalities of the press conference, was not so blunt believing he was in for a much tougher assignment than his convincing win over Jeff Lacy in August.

"This is a bit of a tougher task than Jeff Lacy was,"Jones said.

"It's a bigger guy comin at me, a stronger guy, a much quicker guy."
