After two years off the field, quarterback Michael Vick looks right at home after making his pre-season debut for the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles won the warm-up game 33-32 against the Jacksonville Jaguars where Vick showed flashes of brilliance.

Vick played behind centre during the first quarter only - where he completed all four of his passes for 19 yards, along with one rushing attempt.

Philadelphia fans gave Vick a standing ovation when he ran onto the field two minutes into the game.

Vick told reporters it was great to be back out on the football field.

"The easy part was going out there on the football field," he said.

"Some things worked, some things didn't. It was just the excitement of being out there."

The Eagles foreshadowed what may come this season with several plays featuring both Vick and starter Donovan McNabb on the field at the same time.

Add back Brian Westbrook to that mix and opposing defences could have a nightmare on their hands trying to contain the triple threat.
