Ferg keen to pair up with Fouhy

Kayaker Steven Ferguson is open to the idea of pairing up with Ben Fouhy for the 2012 London Olympics.

Fouhy has announced his return to the sport and stated his intention to battle Ferguson for a spot in the K1 1000.

But Ferguson says the pair could potentially team up in the K2 1000 instead.

He says he is sure they would achieve some amazing results but it will depend on how both of them are doing in the K1.

Ferguson believes SPARC's recent injection of funds into the sport means both he and Fouhy can give it everything in the lead-up to the London Games.
