David Tua is readying for a rumble in the Brazilian jungle,
probably with American journeyman Monte Barrett on June 26.
Tua's US-based promoter Cedric Kushner has confirmed the
heavyweight boxer will fight in Sao Paulo.
Kushner says the bout will almost certainly be against Barrett, a
former WBA heavyweight contender.
He says he has a friend who is promoting a show down there on a
major television network which will be well attended.
Kushner says he hopes to have Barrett 'Two Gunz' signed by the end
of the week.
Barrett, 38, has lost his last three fights, but has 34 wins and 20
knock outs under his belt.
Barrett has fought six current of former heavyweight champions
including David Haye and Vladimir Klitschko.
Tua is still riding high after his emphatic victory against
Friday Ahunanya in Auckland last month.
Kushner says he is hoping Tua's next fight after that could be in Europe.
