Buffalo player suffers horror leg break

Buffalo Bills right guard Eric Wood on Monday suffered a broken leg so severe that TV network CBS refused to show replays.

The 300-pounder broke both bones in his left leg when a player from the opposing team rolled over it, bending it sideways as he crashed to the ground in agony.

Wood had emergency surgery in Florida following the 18-15 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Interim Bills coach Perry Fewell said "it was not a pretty sight to see."
