The Black Stick swept their Junior counterparts at Crown Relocations Stadium, Albany on Sunday in what was coach Shane McLeod's final look at his players before announcing his team for the World Cup Qualifier.

The Black Sticks downed the Junior Black Sticks 4-3, after the Juniors got off to a flying 2-0 start in the first half.

Goal scorers for the Juniors were Nick Wilson, Simon Child and Stephen Jenness. Senior side scorers were Andy Hayward who converted three drag flicks and Phil Burrows.

The win made it a clean sweep for the senior side from three matches, but more importantly gave the players much needed game time, leading up to the BDO World Cup Qualifier which begins in Invercargill next Saturday, November 5.
