The Buffalo Bills have entered the National Football League's free agent market by signing Oakland Raiders offensive tackle Cornell Green, the team said on Tuesday.
Terms of the deal, the first by the Bills since the free agent period opened last Saturday, were not disclosed in a team statement to announce the signing, but local media reports said the deal was worth $9 million over three years.
Green, who entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Atlanta in 1999, has appeared in 89 career games with the New York Jets, Tampa Bay, Denver and Oakland.
