David Tua's next opponent American Monte Barrett is eyeing redemption when he takes on New Zealand's heavyweight contender in Sao Paulo.
The 38-year-old Barrett has been defeated in his last three bouts and now has a record of 34 wins (20 KOs) and nine losses (5 KOs).
However he believes that his defeats to current WBA champion David Haye, Cuban Odlanier Solís Fonte and Russian Alexander Ustinov is huge motivation for the June 26 fight.

"The reason I want to take this fight is mostly for redemption, Barrett told ONE News.
"You know to just basically redeem myself to the boxing community.
In his fight against Haye two years ago, that he lost by TKO in the fifth round, he infamously tumbled over the ropes in spectacular fashion as he attempted to enter the ring.
The American journeyman also has losses to high-profile heavyweights Hasim Rahman and Nikoklay Valuev in a professional career dating back to 1996.
Both fights earned him significant pay days and he isn't concerned that the Tua fight will not bring the same rewards.
"I have some good pay days and this fight is not about money, Barrett says.
"It's not about anything but redemption, victory and me having my head held high as the victor at the end of this fight. "
Despite the pre-ritual bout of confidence Barrett respects Tua as a formidable fighter and knows that he need to be on top of his game if is going to land an upset result.
"I watched David fight a few times and David is a very competitive fighter, I have a lot of respect for him and (his trainer) Roger (Bloodworth).
"This is a fight that I'm definitely up for and that I'm definitely looking forward too.
"I'm up on top of my game; I've been training for the past two months and I knew something was going to come up so I'm all ready to go."
