Australian stayer Zavite will contest next week's Stella Artois Auckland Cup (3200m) at Ellerslie.
The Anthony Cummings-trained stayer showed his class under 60.5kg in taking out the Moonee Valley Night Cup last Friday which clinched the trans-tasman trip
It represented his ninth win from 49 starts to date and he has earned stake earnings of more than $1.1 million.
The gelding is a previous winner of the Adelaide Cup at Morphettville nearly a year ago.
He will be ridden by Australian jockey Damien Oliver in the Auckland Cup next Wednesday in which he has to carry 57.5kg.
