The AFL has cleared two unnamed St Kilda players of any wrongdoing amidst allegations the players had impregnated a Melbourne schoolgirl.

Media reports said the girl had claimed she was pregnant after having sex with the players, who she first met at a high school football clinic.

But in a statement, AFL general manager Adrian Anderson says the league would not be taking any action and declared the matter "a private issue between the parties".
