The Riverbank Arena is a temporary venue located in the Olympic Park which will host the two hockey tournaments.

Distinctive for it's blue and pink turf, the venue has two pitches, one with 15,000 seats and the other for use as a warm-up facility. London will be the first Olympic hockey tournaments where the turf is not green, designed to make it easier for players to pick up the yellow ball.

After the games the hockey pitches will relocate to the north of the Olympic Park, joining a collection of facilities in a place known as Eton Manor, while third division football club Leyton Orient FC have expressed a desire to use the arena.
