The ONE News team in London and at home will cover the Olympics 24-hours a day.

Breakfast
As the competing day comes to a close in London, New Zealanders can wake up to Breakfast and receive a rundown of the big events that took place overnight. Simon Dallow will join the broadcast live from London on the hour, while Peter Williams will be in the Breakfast studio drawing on extensive knowledge and experience gained from reporting on over 20 years of Games coverage.

ONE News at 6
As London wakes up and prepares to begin the competing day, Simon Dallow will join the ONE News at 6 team live from London. Viewers will receive a preview of what is in store for the day ahead, as well as coverage of related new events taking place in the city. In the New Zealand studio, Peter Williams will co-anchor every news broadcast over the Games period.

Tonight
Andrew Saville will join the Tonight newsdesk during the Games to add an extra dose of sporting knowledge to the broadcast. The competing day will be well underway when Tonight goes to air, giving viewers the most up-to-date coverage of results. Several key events for New Zealand medal hopes will be taking place while Tonight is live, including equestrian and women's canoeing.

Online
The ONE News online sport team will provide the latest news and videos, profiles, venue information, medal table, schedules, results feeds, opinion and polls. The team in London will be doing a daily blog and there will be extended interviews from them. We'll also be running 24-hour coverage with live text updates through the night and full coverage in the mornings.
