Kayaker Luuka Jones has missed out on a place in the women's final of the canoe slalom at the London Olympics.
Jones, who had grabbed the last place in today's semi-final, was 14th on a testing course set at the Lee Valley whitewater centre.
The Rotorua 23-year-old struggled in the mid-section and hit gates 9 and 11 on the 23-gate course to incur four time penalties.
Her score of 121.41 points was 5.29 adrift of what she needed to make the final won by Frenchwoman Emilie Fer.
The 15 paddlers in the semi-final had only one run to book a place in the 10-strong final.
Jones was 21st in Beijing four years ago.
