Profile:

Aucklander Trey Bennett takes on an American Guinness World Record champion Ashrita Furman, who holds the record for the longest time to hop on one leg on a treadmill.

Ashrita has made a career of setting and breaking Guinness World Records around the world, but 20-year-old Trey is ready to hop up to the challenge.

Trey is a fitness fanatic who spends his time rock climbing, running and cycling. He suffered a spinal injury when he was young and was told it would affect his ability to jump. Trey applied to be part of the show online, calling himself a world record breaker in training who would take on any record attempts involving physical challenges.

One of five siblings, Trey says his main motivation is to know that Ive pushed myself and my leg to its limit!

To beat Ashrita Furmans Guinness World Record, Trey will have to hop on one leg on a treadmill at a constant speed of 6.5 km/h for longer than 2 min 51.85 seconds.
