This week Christchurch circus performer Pascal Akermann takes on
the Master of Hellfire, German fire eater Hubertus Warwa. In 2008
Hubertus set a new record for the most torches extinguished by the
mouth in one minute an incredible 68.
Swiss-born Pascal Pascal is well versed in the art of fire, performing fire eating and breathing in circus and cabaret shows, theatre, fashion shows, functions and festivals.
A certified pyro-technician, fire is no obstacle to this
extraordinary performer, who says he is determined to break the
Guinness World Record for fire eating by extinguishing 69 torches
with his mouth in one minute.
