Nicole Whippy on what lies ahead
What’s been the one scene which was the most fun to film from what we’ve already seen?
Definitely the food fight. Fortunately for the production Kayte and I managed to film it in one take, especially as we only had one change of clothes as a back-up.
Unfortunately for us, we didn't get to enjoy the fun over and over again. So I'm thinking of having one in my backyard for birthday this month.
BYO Free Range Eggs.
What’s the one moment that you think defines your character most this year?
Ooh that’s a tricky one. There's so many! I think the most revealing moment that defines Michelle this year is when we see her fall in love with Richard. Suddenly we see that vulnerable, scared side of her that's being hiding under that tough exterior.
Who’s the most fun to act opposite in a scene and why?
Our script writer Gavin Strawhan was unknowingly cast by co-writer Rachel Lang in the speed dating episode from Season 1 as 'Pervy Guy'. Well Pervy Guy is making a comeback! And though he had myself and the crew in stitches, Michelle is NOT very happy to see him back!
What’s been the trickiest part to film – and why?
Squeezing my curves into Bandage dresses and my injured leg (from training for the Auckland Half Marathon) into high heels that would make a stripper blush! And then having to walk in them without tripping over my 2 left feet whilst making it look effortless! Phew!
What’s the scene are you most looking forward to/most nervous about seeing on TV?
Sex scenes are always a bit strange to watch-especially with the family.
