Canterbury university student Dudley Fairbrass was the most popular
act with the voting public after performing the indie folk song,
Falling Slowly.
The judges' favourite, 18-year-old Logan Walker sang and danced his
way to the Grand Final with the original composition,

Semi-final five
Tauranga schoolboy, Fletcher Oxford was the most popular act with
the voting public after performing an original composition
dedicated - once again - to his missing moggy,
Sushi.
The judges' favourite, looper Mihirangi is also through to the
Grand Final after a high energy combination of loops and live
vocals.
Semi-final four
Marlborough schoolgirl Clara Van Wel was the most popular act with
the voting public after performing her self-penned song,
Between the Lines.
The judges favourite, jugglers Zane and Degge are also through to
the Grand Final after an illuminating act which showcased their
unique talent.
Semi-final three
Cheeky Maori dance crew JGeeks were the most popular act with the
voting public after their mix of hip hop moves and kai pai attitude
brought the house down.
The judges favourite, teenage singer/musician Evan Sinton is also
through to the Grand Final after accompanying himself on piano and
singing a unique version of Screamin Jay Hawkins
I Put A Spell
On You.
Semi-final two
Christchurch nonagenarian Olivia Turner was the most popular
contestant with the voting public after her performance of the
Frank Sinatra classic,
My Way .
The judges favourite, Sonny Bill Williams look-alike Tawaroa
Kawana is also through to the Grand Final, after accompanying
himself on piano and singing John Legend's
So High .
Semi-final one
Hamilton student 'Big' Dane Moeke (22) was the most popular
contestant with the voting public after his performance of Celine
Dion's 'Because You Loved Me'.
The judges' favourite, child soprano Jessie Hillel, is also through
to the Grand Final, after an emotional performance of 'O Mio
Babbino Caro', from Puccini's opera
Gianni Schicchi.
