Dudley certainly isn't just another beatnik-looking muso with
rocks for brains!
Not only is he a talented budding singer and guitarist, he's also
a dedicated student - studying geology and geography at Canterbury
University.
Dudley's goal is to be a working geologist, but he'd also love the
opportunity to pursue his passion for music
further.
This shy cutie first auditioned for New Zealand's Got Talent with
the band he performs with in pubs and clubs around Darfield. He
then double-dipped by sneaking back a second time to audition as a
solo artist.
He and his band didn't win the judges over. But their lead singer
did!
Dudley has been having singing lessons and learning the acoustic
guitar for a short time, but he's got a musical maturity beyond his
years.
"I only play and sing as a hobby at the moment, but I am really
motivated and enthusiastic," he says.
"I promise I would definitely push myself so much further if I was
to go further in this competition."
