Connor, a year 11 student at Upper Hutt College, is a hip-hop dancer extraordinaire who has been busting out original moves since he was little.
Four years ago he was performing in a dance show when he met Chaz Cummings the teenage winner of the last series of NZGT, who now works as a dance instructor and Zumba teacher.
The boys instantly hit it off, with Chaz recognising Connor's talent taking him on as a student and working hard alongside him to refine his moves. His efforts paid off when, earlier this year, Connor competed in the hip-hop nationals in Australia with a one-time-only crew from Hutt City and won.
"I'm a committed dancer who can entertain an audience," Connor says. "I always push myself to the limits. I've definitely got something exciting to show New Zealand."
